It is that time of year again when spring has sprung and everything’s getting greener! Which also means that it is time to take a deep breath, look at the bluebonnets and ponder on nominations for the Austin Business Journal’s Going Green awards.
The goal is to nominate businesses and business leaders of Central Texas who are leading the effort to protect and nurture our environment. The 2010 awards presentation will honor the categories listed below:
Green Builder- Residential Project: Projects nominated in this category must be committed to environmental sustainability in Central Texas.
Green Builder- Commercial Project: Projects nominated in this category must be committed to environmental sustainability in Central Texas.
Green Business Leader: Business owners or managers who have excelled at driving environmental awareness among the company’s employees, clients or vendors.
Green Business: Local companies that have gone above and beyond the call of duty to implement green initiatives.
Green Innovation: Innovative and local ideas, inventions, products or services that promise to enhance environmental sustainability in Central Texas or beyond.
Green Advocate: Individuals who have done the most to drive actions related to environmental sustainability in Central Texas.
Green Non-Profit: A nonprofit which has done the most to drive environmental sustainability and awareness in the community.
TWO-STEPS
1. Submit the online nomination. We recommend first printing out this form to formulate your answers as this form does not have the ability to be saved.
2. After submitting the online nomination, email collateral materials and photos to support the award nomination to ceilers@bizjournals.com. This information will be important to the judging process. Therefore, please submit all materials you feel are important and submit on time.
