Just in from Austin Resource Recovery and Austin's Economic Development department is a call for proposals for Reuse Alliance’s ReuseConex conference and expo. The reuse community is invited to submit presenter applications ASAP, deadline is Monday March 3rd at midnight. The 2014 theme is “Innovate. Transform. Sustain.” and will serve as a collaborative platform to share initiatives, transformative ideas, research, policy and models to scale programming. Chosen speakers will receive deeply discounted registration and all applicants will receive a $25 discount off their registration. 

Abstracts are invited in ALL areas of reuse, including:

Application Notes & Instructions: 

  • The abstract should provide sufficient detail to show that the submission contains significant results of a program, a research study, or policy analysis. Abstracts describing plans for future work or for the sales of a product or service will not be accepted. 
  • Final decisions regarding presentations will be made by the conference programming committee. 
  • Speakers should be willing to provide us with authorization to place the presentations in the online conference proceedings. 
  • Abstracts must be submitted online, by on March 3, 2014 (midnight EST).

  • All presenters will be required to register for the conference, albeit at a deeply discounted registration rate. 
  • All presenters are asked to review and comply with the ReuseConex Presenter Guidelines, as part of the abstract submission process.
