Longhorn Recycling Roundup 2012

As football season approaches so does the beginning of the Longhorn Recycling Roundup 2012!  This is the second year of composting at UT home football games led by UT Athletics and Keep Austin Beautiful.  Last year had great success and this year we want to collect even more compostable material while educating more people on what is compostable and what's not.

If you are passionate about composting and want to help see this great program expand, consider being a Volunteer Leader for the composting and recycling teams.  Responsibilities include showing volunteers which recycling/composting stations to monitor, making sure the volunteers know what is compostable and encouraging them to inform game attendees about what is compostable.

Leaders and volunteers receive a free KAB Recycling t-shirt and can watch the game from the air conditioned food court at Gate 14.  Home games are Sept 1, Sept 8, Oct 6, Oct 20, Nov 10, and Nov 22.  Please contact Ladye Anne Wofford if interested.
