Location: Austin, Texas

Austin Energy Green Building is hiring a marketing representative to coordinate its marketing and outreach activities, which include education programs, events, print, online and social media, outreach to press and other efforts. We are looking for someone with experience in developing and implementing marketing plans, preferably with strong writing and web skills. This is a temporary position without benefits, funded through the end of fiscal year 2012, with potential for renewal.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance or related field plus two years of relevant experience. One year of relevant work experience may substitute for one year of the required education up to four years.

Preferred qualifications:

·      Experience marketing energy efficiency or sustainability initiatives

·      Online and social media background

·      Excellent written communication skills
