USA Todayreported, according to the quarterly report by the Solar Energy Industries Association and GTM Research “the total U.S. solar market gained grew 67% in value last year to $6 billion – up from $3.6 billion in 2009 – and now employs 100,000 people.”

ImagineSolar workshops train the whole array of workers, from the office team and sales force to the designers, engineers and electricians, preparing them with a solar industry lexicon, utility-scale and smart grid photovoltaic (PV) design capability, electrical installation training and advanced PV instruction for solar electrician license upgrades.
ImagineSolar will open their training facility where electricians and students are taking courses based on the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) job task analysis for PV Installers. See hands-on training labs that allow participants to install a grid-tied PV system, conduct a site assessment, and learn technical aspects of PV modules.
