Volunteer Opportunity – Spring Park Prep

Springtime is approaching and we need your help to keep Waterloo Park beautiful and thriving! In these hands-on volunteer workshops, you’ll learn how to cut back herbaceous perennials, groundcovers, shrubs, and grasses throughout the park, all while meeting other plant-loving experts and community members.
What to bring:
We kindly ask that you wear appropriate clothing and bring any of the following tools/equipment you may have at home!
- Water Bottle
- Gloves
- Knee pads
- Closed toe shoes
- Hand pruners
- Pruning Shears
- Rake

Space is limited. This opportunity is open to people of all ages—any children who participate must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants must be comfortable working outdoors, navigating uneven surfaces, standing, kneeling, crouching, and lifting.
