Shoreline Stewardship: Native Seeding & Planting

Join us, The Trail Conservancy, in continuing to plant a diverse palette of sedges, grasses, and forbs, and spreading native seed mixes on managed habitats along the Butler Trail.

Managed habitats are areas on the Butler Trail that were previously lawns but have been converted into native grasslands or wildflower meadows. All ages and experience levels are welcome. It is a rain-or-shine event. You can RSVP here.

• What to bring and wear : We’ll provide gloves and tools—you need to come prepared with:
  • Closed-toed shoes
  • Long pants
  • Sun protection (sunglasses and a hat)
  • A full water bottle.
