Austin Creative Reuse MLK Day of Service

Observed each year on the third Monday in January, MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.

Making time to volunteer for MLK Day of Service is a great way to engage with your community. Here at ACR, we will have a variety of activities set up for folks to complete throughout the day. Sorting, packing, rolling, tagging, we will be bringing the value back to hundreds of pounds of gently used materials and preparing them for sale in our retail center.
