Democracy Dollars for Austin PAC is a political committee of diverse Austinites that supports Proposition H and Democracy Dollars. We as a group take no position on the other May 2021 City ballot measures. We represent diverse views, races, ages, incomes, and areas, but we all support Democracy Dollars and believe every Austinite deserves a voice in our government.

Early voting starts April 19, and Austin voters have the opportunity to squash the effects of big money in Austin elections and give power to the voters. Please join our panel as they discuss the impact of Democracy Dollars, and how voting yes on Prop H will increase voter engagement, create a more diverse donor base, and enable independent non-wealthy candidates to run for office in their communities.

Our panel is moderated by Austin based writer and award-winning journalist Alberta Phillips. Our panel of experts – Nelson Linder, Carmen Llanes Pulido, Tane Ward, Susana Almanza, and Anh-Linh Kearney – are all leaders in their Austin Communities.
