Who We Are:

Formerly known as Solid Waste Services, Austin Resource Recovery provides residential curbside collection of trash, recycling and yard trimmings in the City of Austin. Additional services include sweeping streets, collecting dead animals, operating a drop-off center for household hazardous waste and collecting bulk items and large brush.

All residents can​ do a contactless drop off of their trees for recycling at Zilker Park (near the Polo Tables), even if they are not a City of Austin customer. Trees with flocking (artificial snow) are not accepted. Please remove all decorations and stands prior to arrival and remember to bring your mask or face covering for drop off.

Drop off is between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following dates:
-Sunday, January 2, 2022
-Saturday, January 8, 2022
-Sunday, January 9, 2022
