East SFC Farmer’s Market is Moving! Location and Time Changes March 5th

SFC Farmers’ Market East, which opened last spring at Ed Bluestein (Hwy. 183) and 51st Street, will be moving March 5th to a new location at MLK and Miriam Street, near the Capital MetroRail M Station.

The market will also change its time from morning to 3 pm to 7 pm on Tuesdays. The farmers’ market will continue to offer the Double Dollar Incentive Program (DDIP) to families with Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) cash value fruits and vegetable benefits, the Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) vouchers, or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Lone Star cards. Families and individuals will receive a match of up to $20 additional “Double Dollars” per week for their fruit and vegetable purchases at the SFC Farmers’ Market East at this new location. The DDIP match of $20 is also available to SNAP and WIC customers at Sunset Valley on Saturdays at the Toney Burger Center.
