15 Apr Earth Day Talk: Hill Country Conservancy Offers Ideas for “A Billion Acts of Green” on Shades of Green Energy Radio

What are you doing to be part of the Earth Day initiative, “A Billion Acts of Green”? Harper Scott, Director of Communications and Andrea Rado, Director of Community Relations at Hill Country Conservancy will be joining us Thursday, April 21st at 1:00 p.m. on Shades of Green Energy Radio to let us know about activities and events Hill Country Conservancy has on the horizon for Earth Day 2011 … that’s Friday, April 22. One of the things they’ll be talking about is the Earth Day Concert at Moody Theater at ACL with guest speaker, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers. They’re also making “Earth Day acts of green” easy with their “Austin Give 5” campaign. Just eat, shop or play at local businesses and 5% of the purchases you make on Earth Day will benefit several local non-profit organizations that support the environment.
