We’re excited to announce two brand new ventures at Acts of Sharing!
We’ve been sharing cars since we launched, and as a natural outgrowth of Acts of Sharing culture, we’re proud to be launching Acts of Sharing RideShare on Earth Day, April 22.
RideShare is just that – sharing a ride. We’re connecting you to the places you want to go with the people you know. You post places that you want to go and when. We’ll connect you with the friends going your way. Life’s better when you ride together.
To celebrate our RideShare Launch on Earth Day, we’re doing a FilmSharecompetition, featuring the most fun and creative 1-2 minute videos on sharing a ride that have ever been seen! On April 22nd at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas, we’ll be hosting a screening to enjoy all the films created, while awarding the best in each category. We want to invite you to submit a film for the competition. We’ll be celebrating the best and most creative of the films at the Drafthouse, but will also be embedding them on Actsofsharing.comafterwards. Have fun, dream big and share the movement! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
We’re also excited to let you know about the launch of our new Stories of Sharing Blog. Acts of Sharing has always been a movement about relationships, about people connecting to others through the things that they have. We thought it was about time to tell the stories at the heart of the Movement. We’ll be using film, visual art, and the written word to communicate how sharing is affecting our hearts and lives, and the relationships we share with others. To creatively capture the stories at the heart of the movement is our goal, and we’re excited to feature the ways in which Acts of Sharing is helping to grow people and communities together.
