You’re invited to You Can’t Eat Money: Dreaming Beyond Climate Resilience, an artist showcase and gathering! Come dream up and co-create futures of care, interconnectivity, and abundance with us through an afternoon of art and community.
As part of the City of Austin’s Community Climate Ambassador Program, we are hosting a free community event and open mic centering and highlighting youth experiences, art, speakers, and stories about nature, climate change, gentrification, policing, and more! More information about the lineup to come soon 🙂
You Can’t Eat Money will feature poetry, performance, a visual art gallery, some lightning talks, and an open mic – all about the relationships between nature, the built environment, climate change, and youth in Austin. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided, along with various free merch and resources from fellow Climate Ambassadors and some City of Austin departments.
Parking will be free and available! This event is free and open to the public.
If you or your organization/department is interested in tabling at the event, please email us at gabybenitez@utexas.edu and 717noor@gmail.com
