Urinetown, The Musical – Playing at Center Stage TX: 2/17 – 3/4

Urinetown, The Musical

It’s a Privilege To Pee!

What show has crazed rabbits, show-stopping numbers and plungers galore? Urinetown!

The story of one young man’s fight against an evil corporation comes to Center Stage Texas. Because of a 20 year drought, Urine Good Company has created Public Amenities, where the public must pay to pee. When young Bobby’s father is carted off to the penal colony of “Urinetown” for breaking the law, he leads a group of rebels into battle against the U.G.C. and its money-grabbing CEO. Directed by kidsActing founder Dede Clark, one of Austin’s most loved directors for thirty years, this musical showcases some of Austin’s best youth talent, including a few B. Iden Payne award nominees. Come get a taste of what Austin’s talented teens can cook up on stage with this Tony Award-winning Broadway hit!
