Roundup Update – Make it One More Trail Boss at the Roundup!

The Roundup is looking for a few good Trail Bosses to volunteer to join us in helping everyone have a great time at the 12th Annual Renewable Energy Roundup & Green Living Fair, (The Roundup). Texans, from communities large and small seeking green lifestyles and concerned about drought and the environment come to The Roundup to find ideas on healthy green living, home efficiency, water conservation and sustainability.

Volunteers that sign up for a four-hour shift gain a sense of community that is hard to describe until you’ve been a “Roundup Trail Boss.”  Yes, volunteers get a weekend ticket ($25 value) to The Roundup and get an event T-shirt ($20 value) but it is nothing compared to the feeling of being part of a community that is shaping and changing Texas and the world into a better place to live and breath, a place to enjoy for generations to come!

Trail Boss volunteers are crucial to the success of The Roundup so if you are interested you can sign up for a time slot on the website or go to www.TheRoundup.org and click the volunteer tab.  The Renewable Energy Roundup and Green Living Fair takes place the last weekend in September the 29 – 30 at Fredericksburg’s Market Square, 101 West Main.

The Roundup showcases eco-friendly products, green energy services and renewable energy resources from a growing number of Texas companies that provide people with a wide variety of useful information.

The Renewable Energy Roundup is co-organized by Texas Renewable Energy Industries Association (TREIA) and Texas Center for Policy Studies (TCPS). Event proceeds benefit TREIA and TCPS, two non-profits striving to increase understanding and awareness of renewable energy applications and to promote their wide use.  Sponsors for The Roundup include Austin Energy and Austin Energy Green Building, HEB, Circular Energy and many others who can be seen along with event details at the website: www.TheRoundup.org, or call 830-997-2350 or email: info@TheRoundup.org.
