I hope you have all seen this, marked your calendars, told a friend, planned your Local Food entree – but here is a reminder…..

What: Spring 2013 Local Food Celebration & Potluck – Help honor/cheer our Local Food Producers, Markets, Suport Org's., and cheer on our Spring 2013 crop of Citizen Gardener & Permaculture Design Graduates. Tour the Gallery of Permaculture Designs; browse the info/literature table for events, classes, goings-on.

When: Monday, May 6th from 6;30 – 9;30 pm

Where: The lovely, elegant, fun Barr Mansion – Springdale & Sprinkle Rd – 2 mi. north of Rt-290-East

Why Attend?:

Help us Celebrate Local Food – honor our local Farmers, Markets, Support Groups, Gardeners, and Foodies (not yet a Foodie? – attend and receive an automatic m'ship). If you are a Farm, Market, Support Org., bring your cards/flyers for the info Table and practice your 30 – 60 sec. message – who you are; where you are; what you produce; where we can buy it; and, what we can do for you? – for the "open mike" portion of the program.

And, by your presence and voice, cast your vote for the importance of Local Food, Local Farmers, Local Gardeners, FarmersMarkets, and Consumers: by your attendance, your prep of a delicious Local Food dish to share, your enthusiasm, and your advice to other Foodies. Help the Local Food Movement raise Austin's resilience – from less than 15% Local Food today to to over 50% by 20_ _.  Do this by first doing it for yourself and family/household, then by showing/helping others – there's a Locavore in each of us
