Fall is [almost] here and the Fall 2010 Permaculture Design Course is just around the corner,. The 1st class is on Sat., Oct. 2nd at the Workers’ Defence Project at 5601 Manor Rd from 9:00 to 5:45 pm. We repeat this format for 10 Saturdays, through Sat. , Dec. 11, with a great graduation and local food potluck on Siunday, Dec. 12.

Hundreds in Austin/C-TX have taken this life-changing course with universal high praise. We’ll teach you about the world but we’ll focus on Austin/C-TX as our classroom/laboratory. Class time, small grouip exercises, outdoor projects, guest speakers, field trips make this an enjoyable, exciting learning/doing experience – all with a great group of like minded folks.

Cost is a modest $600 for the 10 day course (others run $2000 plus travel/living and take 12 days). Individual days are $70. Course includes design workshop – each graduate completes a professional level design of a property/community of his/her choice.
