Exciting new job with the City of Austin – Conservation Program Coordinator (Sustainable Urban Agriculture Coordinator – Parks & Recreation Dept)

There is hardly a greener job than this one! This position will promote energy, water, or natural resource conservation awareness and initiatives as well as help facilitate more Community Gardens and Urban Farms in Austin.

Kudos to the Sustainable Food Policy Board, the Austin Coalition of Community Gardens, the Sustainable Food Center and council member Chris Riley, his staffer Louis Leff and Mayor Pro Tem Mike Martinez’s staffer Andy Moore and a broad cross-departmental team led by Margaret Russell with Parks and Rec and Rusty Cobern with Austin Water for helping make this happen!
