Austin Energy has just launched a useful new tool, called “Is An Electric Vehicle Right for Me?”. The website allows you to compare and contrast the cost of an electric vehicle versus the amount of money you spend each year driving and maintaining your current car.

The website then spits out a tailor-made report, just for you, that goes into more detail about available incentives and savings. It even tells you how switching to an electric vehicle could reduce your personal carbon footprint. You can give it a try here>>
