Official Induction Ceremony into the Guinness World Records for the World’s Largest Shovel
Garden-Ville is very excited to announce our history making event, the “Official Induction Ceremony into the Guinness World Records for the World’s Largest Shovel”. This shovel literally "stands tall" at over 40 feet high weighing 5,000 pounds, displayed as a symbol of our commitment to reclaim, recycle and repurpose. The Garden-Ville shovel, which is made from all recycled materials diverted from the landfill including scrap metal and telephone poles, was designed and constructed by our resident artist, Chris Anderson.
“At Garden-Ville we see no limit in reusing sustainable resources to create various products, including STA certified soils, gardening supplies and art,” says Jennifer Gregory, Director of Marketing for Garden-Ville. “Our mission is to divert as much as possible from the landfill and share our vision to utilize sustainable practices through composting, recycling and creating symbols such as the shovel to represent our mission.”
