Zipper Replacement Workshop for Pants

Do you love to sew but avoid every project with a zipper? Then this workshop is for you! In this hour-and-a-half class, you’ll learn essential skills to replace a zipper on a pair of pants. We recommend that participants in this workshop already be familiar with how to use a sewing machine.
What to Expect: Learn from a professional fashion designer who will walk you through step-by-step zipper removal and installation specifically for pants.
What You’ll Learn:
- Types of zippers and how they work
- How to remove and replace a faulty zipper on a pair of pants
- Techniques for fixing stuck or misaligned zippers

What to Bring:
- A pair of pants with a broken zipper to work on (if you have one)
- A new zipper if you have a color or style preference
- Your own sewing machine, if you’d like. We’ll have three available to share, but bringing your own means no waiting.
- Your enthusiasm and curiosity
Don’t have a pair of pants to work on but still want to learn? No problem! We can provide a pair for you to practice on.
