Who We Are:

Waterloo Greenway is a 1.5-mile park system with the power to bring the entire Austin community together. Once complete, the 35 acres of connected green space – meandering from 15th St. along downtown’s eastern edge to Lady Bird Lake – will be home to a wild array of natural and cultural destinations.

    • Join Waterloo Greenway and Families in Nature for hands-on workshops and outdoor nature play activities including a “BioBlitz,” where citizen scientists of all ages will use iNaturalist to identify plants and wildlife within Waterloo Park. Participants might spot a blue heron fishing for lunch, a turtle perched on a log or a nutria out for a swim.
