Cleanup supplies will be provided on-site. If you prefer you may bring your own gloves.
When picking up litter, Keep Austin Beautiful recommends participants do so responsibly and at their comfort level.
In the past, the annual Fourth of July celebration at Auditorium Shores has generated a lot of trash, recycled, and compostable material. The event is expected to bring over 40,000 attendees. In an effort to divert the material out of the local landfill, Austin Resource Recovery is seeking volunteers to help attendees dispose material in the correct bin and manage the event collection stations. The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 4th.

What to bring: A FULL bottle of water and sunscreen are strongly recommended
Youth Volunteers: All volunteers under the age of 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must register and attend with the youth volunteer. Independent registrations submitted by minors are not permitted.
Pet Policy: For safety and liability reasons, pets are not permitted at volunteer events. Service animals are welcome.
