Texas Campaign for the Environment’s 21st Anniversary Celebration: Recycled Fashion Show, Silent Auction, & Dance Party!

Please join us at Delta Lumber & Millworks for our second TCE Trash Makeover Challenge! Designers from across the state will display stunning outfits made from 90% recycled materials.

Judges will include Liz Watson, wife of Senator Kirk Watson and last year’s event emcee; April Kling Meyer, owner of Fabricker; Mary Margaret Quadlander, founder of Austin School of Fashion Design; and Eve Nichols, UT Program Director of the Apparel Design department.

We’ll be celebrating 21 years of organizing in Texas, and this year we’re adding a post-fashion show dance party with DJ Bobby West. Food will be available for purchase from three local vendors: Surf ’n’ Turf Po’ Boys, Cazamance, and Mellizoz Tacos.
