Every year, SXSW and Austin Resource Recovery team up to help divert material from the landfill and keep the event clean. In an effort to host a Zero Waste event, Austin Resource Recovery is seeking volunteers to help collect and dispose of event material at the SXSW Outdoor Concert Series. The event is scheduled to take place at Auditorium Shores on Thursday, March 14 through Saturday, March 16.

Volunteers will be expected to assist with collecting litter, monitoring waste collection stations and taking collected material to the dumpster onsite. Volunteers need to be at least 18 years of age to participate. Austin Resource Recovery will provide all equipment, training, and assistance onsite.

Several shifts are available. Click here to sign up.
