Sustainable Bus Tour: Music On The Metro
February 7 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Dear Community, Join us!
We are bringing back our sustainable public transit tours in ATX (first of the year!), but this time with a twist. Instead of a tour, we will have a musical experience by our co-hosts, Beitna – Austin’s home for SWANA arts & culture.
During our journey on the red line, we will be welcomed with music by Reema Barakat and Danny Kodeih. They will be playing Arabic classics with oud and percussion.
Meet at Plaza Saltillo Station for some quick conversations, and then from there we will be hopping on the red metro line for a 21-minute ride up north to the McKalla Station (Q2 Stadium)before heading back down with music along the entire ride inside the train. You can RSVP here.
CapMetro digital metro passes will be sent via email/text before the event.
We will have free drip coffee provided at the beginning of the event, thanks to Texas Coffee Traders Cafe!
