South Austin Food Co-op Volunteer Orientation and Soirée !

Want to find out how to match your talents to our needs? Want to help us brainstorm new ways to publicize, promote and prosper with the Co-op? Interested in meeting other Co-op volunteers? Okay, so maybe you just want an excuse to sneak a peak at the spankin’ new Twin Oaks Public Library nestled in the heart of Bouldin Creek—and we wouldn’t blame you. It’s beautiful!
Well, here’s your chance to do all of the above! Due to the con…tinued positive response from the community, the South Austin Food Co-op is hosting a volunteer orientation and soirée on Tuesday, August 31st at 7:00 pm at the new Twin Oaks Public Library. We’ll have Board members and veteran volunteers on hand along with plenty of ideas for ways you can help. As a start-up, the South Austin Food Co-op is actively looking for folks with YOUR skill sets. Come join us and discover what you can do to keep this home-grown effort moving forward!
We’ll have opportunities for volunteers who want to work on either an ongoing or as-needed basis. Sign-up sheets for specific events, teams and tasks will be available.
