Reimagine Reuse and Thrift with Nellie Cohen!

In the spirit of National Thrift Store Day on August 17, Austin Resource Recovery invites you to a *FREE* interactive workshop to gain insights on how to grow a reuse business by attracting new customers and increasing sales. The workshop will be led by Nellie Cohen, former manager of Patagonia’s circular economy initiative, Worn Wear and current Founder of Baleen, a partner in helping brands do well by doing good.

Reuse retailers will develop skills and gain insights for growing their business via:

-Brand development to authentically standout
-Creating campaigns and targeted messaging to attract new customers
-Leveraging events and partnerships to generate new business opportunities
-Building a digital presence with social media and e-commerce to reach more people

Anyone is welcome to attend, but the workshop portion will focus on addressing challenges experienced in the reuse/thrift industry. Light refreshments will be provided.
