We are the oldest grassroots environmental organization in Texas. We believe our open spaces, clean water, and natural resources should be protected so that current and future generations may enjoy them. In addition to our state chapter office in Austin, we are blessed with several regional groups in Texas that provide wonderful opportunities to explore, enjoy, and protect the state’s natural wonders.

Join the Texas Sierra Club for a campaign launch party to proclaim loud & clear that we, the people, deserve clean, reliable, affordable energy and not more polluting, water-sucking fossil fuels.

We’ll have free food & drinks, music, and family-friendly activities for folks to enjoy while getting up to speed on a new campaign to bring the power back to the people.

During the event, we’ll discuss an update about the coal-fired Fayette power plant, what’s at stake with Austin Energy’s upcoming resource plan and clean energy plans in the Pedernales & Bluebonnet electric coops, share how you can inform the process, and pass along tips for saving money on utility bills. Come for a good time, and leave knowing how to get more involved in your community.
