Professional Development Seminar: Permitting and Development Center Tour

Join us for a virtual tour of the City of Austin’s Permitting and Development Center, which recently relocated to a new building in the Highland redevelopment. The Center’s new home is situated in the heart of a walkable, transit-friendly mixed-use neighborhood that has emerged from the site of the former Highland Mall.
The design and construction team will share their insights on how they worked towards meeting sustainability and wellness measures included in the Austin Energy Green Building rating and WELL certification. The team will also discuss strategies such as black-water reclamation and life cycle analysis.
