PBS Broadcast Debut “Origins of a Green Identity” documentary

How did Austin become a city that values open space and recreation? Origins of a Green Identity charts the efforts of the time period from roughly 1950-1970 when the earliest conservationists sought to preserve the natural environment and create parkland for the citizens of Austin. This is a local television broadcast. An international, on-line streaming will be announced in December.
