Get ready to cast your ballot for Pet Mayor of Austin! Come to our all-ages block party featuring games, food, and hands-on voting practice!
Paws to the Polls: The Great Austin Pet Election is coming to a neighborhood near you!
Research the candidates using special editions of our nonpartisan Voters Guide and our online resource VOTE411. Vote for your candidate of your choice using actual voting machines provided by the Travis County Clerk’s office.
In addition to voter registration and information, we’ll also have popcorn, kids’ activities, and an opportunity to take a pic with your candidate’s cut-out.
This event is brought to you by the League of Women Voters of the Austin Area and the Travis County Clerk’s Office. These block parties will be held throughout the summer in different locations around Austin and Travis County. Keep an eye on lwvaustin.org/PAWS for a venue near you!
