Patagonia
Who We Are:

We opened in 2008, in the heart of downtown Austin, just steps from the Convention Center, the Congress Ave. Bridge (famous for its dusk bat watching), and a short walk from the state capitol. We regularly host store events and support local environmental work, including efforts to stop the Trans Pecos pipeline project in southwest Texas.

Howdy, Austin! It’s SXSW time. It’s also the start of our 50th year of business unusual. We’re excited to celebrate right here in our Austin retail store. Join us for conversations around regenerative organic agriculture, corporate and grassroots activism—and the importance of weaving environmental and social justice into the fabrics we wear.

Bring your cup for happy hour(s) and that old jacket you’ve been meaning to repair (our Worn Wear crew will show you how). Fun runs, coffee, tacos, screen printing, and a glimpse into what we’re asking ourselves: What’s Next?

Join us for a full day of action and learning. The morning begins at 8 AM with a group fun run (5K and 10K), followed by coffee and tacos. In the afternoon, the festivities will continue with Worn Wear repairs (11 AM – 3:30 PM) and screen printing (2 PM – 7 PM). Plus: education on local environmental action groups from PODER (People Organized in Defense of Earth and Her Resources), Urban Roots and Austin Youth River Watch. At 4 PM, we’ll ease into happy hour with food from Huckleberry, drinks from Patagonia Provisions and the Austin Winery, and live music from Ryan Cassata.

When: Saturday, March 11, 2023
Where: Patagonia Austin, 316 Congress Avenue
Time: 8 AM – 7 PM

All weekend our in-store events are open to the public, first-come-first-served. On March 10th, we’re hosting a “Soil Power Happy Hour” and on March 12th, we’re hosting  “Keep It Weird, Keep It In Play.”

For the morning trail run meet at 8:15 AM in front of our store.

Afterwards, we’ll nosh on all-important post-run refreshments from Creature Coffee Cart (10 AM – 12 PM) and Taco Deli.

10 AM – 5 PM

Don’t Mess With Our Home Planet

Stop by anytime to make your own screen-printed shirt (starts at 2 PM), fix your old gear (our Worn Wear team will show you how from 11 AM – 3:30 PM), and learn from PODER, Urban Roots, and the Austin Youth River Watch.

5 PM – 7 PM

Happy Hour: Cheers to Collective Action!
