Common Ground for Texans and LWV-AA, both nonpartisan nonprofit organizations, are hosting an event – Outcomes and likely consequences of 87th legislative session

Ross Ramsey, Executive Editor of The Texas Tribune, will lead a panel to analyze the outcome of the Texas 87th Legislative session, including a review of the legislature’s response to the winter freeze crisis.

Cinde Weatherby, LWV-TX, will report on the outcome of election reform legislation.

Chas Moore, Autin Justice Coalition, will report on criminal justice reform – the George Floyd Act and other police practices legislation.
