Mosaic Garden Art

From Austin Creative Reuse –

The art of mosaics is a wonderful opportunity to Reuse and Recycle a variety of interesting materials, while enjoying a creative outlet.

In this afternoon course, we will create mosaic art for our garden. Participants can choose to create a mosaic stepping stone, a 3D sculptural accent, or something else, depending on the variety of materials at hand, supplied by Austin Creative Reuse.

You will learn some mosaic making basics, including how to cut and place tiles, how to work with mixed media materials, and working with a variety of adhesives to assure durability.

We hope you will join us in this fun, fast-paced class. You will find that putting individual pieces of glass, tile and mixed media together to create art is an unusually satisfying and enjoyable pursuit.

Dianne will guide you through the process, and help you begin to unleash your unique individual creativity. We all have creative potential, and it feeds our spirit when we allow ourselves to connect and experience it.
