Join us this Wednesday, October 29, at the monthly meeting of the Austin Zero Waste Alliance (AZWA)!
We’ll be recapping our amazing victory in vindicating Daniela Ochoa Gonzalez from the city's allegations that she had a conflict of interest while serving on the Zero Waste Advisory Commission and talking about upcoming work to ensure that Austin’s Construction and Demolition debris ordinance reflects our community’s values. We’ll also strongly focus on developing a strategy for securing better rules for Austin’s Universal Recycling Ordinance. It has become too difficult to enforce Austin’s recycling rules; we want to make it easier and we need your insight and experience to help us develop a strategy for building our power and securing these improvements to Austin’s Zero Waste policies.
