Please join the Austin Zero Waste Alliance (AZWA) for its July meeting this Wednesday. We have an exciting new structure to our meetings. We'll take the first hour to discuss new and old business and then break out into our committees for the last half hour to get updated on goals, strategies and tactics for our action items and decide what next steps to take and assign roles.
If you're not yet part of a committee, that's OK! You can be part of one or more of these awesome groups: Policy, Finance, Organics & Education/Community Outreach
This week, we'll discuss our meeting with Bob Gedert, head of Austin's Resource Recovery Department, schedule a lobby training and attending the city's boards and commissions that affect our work.
WHAT: Austin Zero Waste Alliance (AZWA) Monthly Meeting
