The Downtown Austin Alliance’s Issues & Eggs series is back and better than ever. We’re bringing experts to the breakfast table to provide perspective on the challenges and unique opportunities downtown faces. Join us as we unscramble complex issues one community conversation at a time.
Our first Issues & Eggs of 2023 will be held at St. David’s Episcopal Church on September 26th from 7:30am to 9am. Start your morning with us, grab breakfast, make connections and hear from our panelists on how Austin’s taking a more balanced approach to serving our unhoused population.
Recently, the City announced that over $65 million will go towards nonprofits to help combat homelessness. Hear from Mayor Kirk Watson and a panel of community leaders working to end homelessness who will discuss the planning and distribution of funds for one of Austin’s most pressing issues and most vulnerable populations.
