Grow Green Professional Landscape Training: Urban Landscapes, Technology, and Tools

From the City of Austin Development Services Department –

The Grow Green Landscape Professional Training series has been developed with the goal of protecting our natural resources by offering Austin residents a list of landscape professionals who can provide sustainable options for landscape design, installation, and care. The training series gives Austin landscape professionals the opportunity to get helpful information to enhance their sustainable landscape services from local businesses, non-profits and City of Austin professionals.

Schedule:
Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following dates (all Thursdays):

·         January 18:    Soil, Trees & Sustainability – Austin Water Center for Environmental Research

·         February 1:    Urban Landscapes, Technology & Tools – Austin Central Library

·         February 15:  Rainscaping –  Zilker Botanical Garden

·         March 1:         Food for People, Pollinators & Wildlife – Zilker Botanical Garden

Cost: 
$75 for the entire series or $20 for individual days. Open to both landscape professionals and non-professionals alike. You can sign up here>>
