Even the most complex statistical models require all sorts of assumptions (especially in the social sciences), that make room for biases to hide and propagate. These three organizations, local nonprofits Measure and Capacity Catalyst, and Austin’s HBCU Huston-Tillotson University, have partnered to ensure data and research are used for the social good by shining a light on bias rather than trying to eliminate it.

Learn about how statistical models can allow biases to hide and propagate, Organizations currently fighting bias in data, and What you can do to help

Event will feature speakers from MEASURE, Huston Tillotson University, and Capacity Catalyst.
