    • Join us at City Hall for the Gallery of Heroes, a special Black History celebration featuring an evening program, youth art exhibition, and reception. The gallery will showcase artwork from Lee Lewis Campbell Elementary and Blackshear Elementary, highlighting the creativity and voices of our young scholars.

    The evening program will include remarks from me, a speech from an MLK Oratory participant, performances by LL Campbell’s cheer team, step squad, and dance team, and live music from the Texas Empowerment Band.

    Come celebrate Black History, creativity, and community excellence, and show your support for our talented youth!

    * The Gallery of Heroes exhibition will be on display at City Hall from February 2–13, during regular business hours, Monday–Friday, from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
