Latina Fuerza. Hear Us, Invest in Us and Achieve with Us. In Texas, the key to winning statewide is getting a strong Latino turnout. To make that happen, we have to engage with Latinas. They are the heart of our Latino community. Despite this, Latinas are often overlooked. Join us for an informative hour about the impact Latinas had in the last election, how to engage with Latinas to impact future elections.
The event will be moderated by Dr. Victoria M. DeFrancesco Soto, Assistant Dean for the Civic Engagement & Lecturer at the LBJ School of Public Affairs.
