Who We Are:

La Politica was founded by a group of Progressive Latinas who wanted a space to support, elevate, and educate our hermanas/xs. We envision a world where Latinas/xs always have a seat at the political table. Our goal is to create opportunities to discuss the issues we face in the Austin community, and move from words to action.

If you watch one event to prepare for the upcoming November election season, make sure this is it!

 

La Politica is hosting an exciting live online Election Pachanga where we’ll discuss our local, state and national election by defining what all of these positions on the ballot *actually do*, why it’s important to vote (how these positions affect our daily lives), and how to sign up and stand up for our communities.

 

We’ll also share answers to questionnaires we sent out to local candidates and have some surprise guests.
