About this event
A children’s “Make n’ Take,” this workshop will guide each artist to cut and paste painted papers, creating a design in the same manner used by Henri Matisse. He is famous for enormous paper cutouts; yours will be medium-sized and framed by you before you leave.

This workshop is appropriate for those 7 years old and up accompanied by a ticketed adult. Unaccompanied adults welcome!
Note: This is an outdoor workshop, please dress accordingly. If it is too cold or rainy we will spread apart inside the store.

About the Artist
Jane Wells graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art. She has always created and sold artwork and now is represented by the Hunt Gallery in San Antonio. She has taught art to all levels in public schools, museums, her private studio and various venues for over 25 years. She is eager to share what she learned about teaching art to children. You do not have to have a child with you to be a part of this workshop.
