Design Matters

From Austin Energy Green Building and the Austin Community Design and Development Center –

Why come to Design Matters?

Ensuring that economic growth delivers meaningful benefits to people living in disadvantaged communities is one of the central challenges of our time. At the Austin Community Design and Development Center’s Design Matters Forum you will have a chance to hear four luminaries bring their expertise to bear on these vexing questions in a wide-ranging, reflective, and thought-provoking conversation. Spanning the domains of community engagement, community development, public health, and sustainable urban land use, the speakers will engage with each other and with the audience in search of new pathways towards the ultimate goal of building a truly resilient and equitable Austin.

Come for a stimulating discussion and stay for the community celebration reception sponsored by Austin Energy Green Building!

Want to be part of the event? Become a Sponsor! Contact us at nicole.joslin@acddc.org to learn more about the sponsorship levels and packages.

Enjoy an afternoon of community and conversation with Austin’s leaders in health, place, and environmental equity. AEGB is sponsoring ACDDC to host this year’s forum of four luminaries discussing community engagement, sustainable development and public health.
