Crafting To Get Out The Vote: Mosaic Coaster Workshop

A fun crafting + civics event hosted by The Mosaic Workshop and The Austin Common!
Create a mosaic coaster while you learn about local government and voting in a fun and creative way! We provide all the tools, materials, and instruction needed to create a one-of-a-kind mosaic coaster plus a handmade “Vote” tile by Hope Hummingbird.
As you mosaic, The Austin Common will give their Local Government 101/Election 101 presentation — It’s short, fun, goes over the basics of how our local government works/who’s on the ballot, and even comes with a zine, hand-drawn by local artists!

- No experience required!
- No cutting workshop due to the simultaneous presentation.
