Elections have consequences. We need everyone engaged to create the future they want to see in Austin and Central Texas, at the state level and across the US.

Impact Austin is hosting a panel discussion with local civic leaders from Austin Common, NextGen America, and Organizing for Action to discuss recent trends in voting, ways to engage to help get out the vote, how to become informed on election issues and how their organizations support civic engagement.

Panelists:

  • Shelly Baker, Texas Organizing Director, NextGen America
  • Yvonne Massey Davis, Sr. Director, Public Engagement, Organizing for Action
  • Amy Stansbury, Editor in Chief, The Austin Common

Moderator:

  • Eric Byrd, President, Black Professional Alliance

A tasty brownbag lunch will be provided.

This event is free for Impact Austin members and guests.

In honor of our 20th anniversary, we invite you to make a donation of $20. Any donations received during event registration will directly support Impact Austin and our programming, and gifts of any size are greatly appreciated.
