In honor of National Minority Mental Health Month, BRAVE Communities invites you to a powerful happy hour of conversation, connection, and community care.
BRAVE Communities Connection is holding space where young people, families, and community members come together for informal conversations and listening circles, we’ll explore ways to support mental wellness, break stigma, and uplift one another—especially in light of recent Central Texas flooding and the broader challenges facing our communities. This special gathering will feature:
✨ Listening circles on:
Navigating mental health as teens, adults, and community members
Breaking the silence around emotional well-being
Strategies for resilience and self-care
Mental health resource tables with local practitioners, counselors, and community organizations
Cross-cultural connections with young people from across the Asia Pacific visiting Austin through the U.S. Department of State’s TechGirls exchange program
Let’s #MakeATXBRAVE where vulnerability is strength, and every story matters.
