Austin Justice Coalition is proud to present our 4th annual art show and fundraiser, BLACK ART MATTERS. “Black Art Matters” is an art experience that highlights the excellence and power of Black artists. This space explores how Black artists innovate, create, and perceive the world around them and how criminal, social, and economic justice work interweave with their journeys.
We are working hard to bring you our most extensive and safest, BLACK ART MATTERS to date. This year’s show will be a two-day event!
Where: The Distribution Hall: 1500 E. 4th Street
When: Friday, August 27th from 6-10 PM, & Saturday, August 28th from 4-10 PM.
The artists will exhibit alongside local black businesses, projection and interactive art, live painting, local DJ’s, and special guest celebrity DJ Nyack! Get food and snacks from our on-site food trucks, local beer from our sponsors, wine, and custom cocktails at one of the indoor bars. In addition, we’ll have a 360 photo booth so you can capture the fun with your friends and some exciting new Black Art Matters merchandise!
Each GA ticket comes with two drink tickets with more available at the door.
Donation option available for admission.
With Covid variants on the rise, masks will be required indoors except when seated or drinking and we will encourage practice safe social distancing throughout the event.
